ABOUT LOU
Meet Lou – Fitness Coach, Veteran, and Community Leader At 86 years young, Lou brings a lifetime of dedication, service, and enthusiasm to everything he does. He is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine with a specialization in senior fitness.
Lou is also deeply involved in the community:
Lou graduated from St. Peter’s Prep and St. Peter’s University in New Jersey, St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, and did graduate work in Labor/Employment Law at New York University.
Lou served in the U.S. Army from 1961–1968, leaving with the rank of Captain in the US ARMY Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He also graduated from the Advanced Infantry Officers and Airborne Schools at Fort Benning and the US ARMY Judge Advocate School at the University of Virginia. After postions with the National Labor Relations Board and Litton Industries, he was in private practice in Texas and California. Lou retired last year after 60 of practicing law. He then was certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal fitness trainer and in CPR by the American Heart Association.
Outside of fitness and service, Lou is an avid train enthusiast. After rediscovering his childhood Lionel trains—stored in a box for over 70 years—he built an expansive layout in his garage to bring them back to life.
He lives in Prescott Lakes with his two big dogs, Rich and Joe. He also enjoys family gatherings with his daughter Catherine, his son RJ and his wife Stacie, grandsons Nick and Cole, and his daughter in law Clara. Lou visits his brother Carl and Ann Marie, their children and grandchildren, along with his college friends who live in Jersey, VA, CA and Florida.
