Red White & Brew

This was a great spot to stop for lunch after kayaking! It's a block from the center of town where all the shops are. Parking was easy (street or parking lot).

My husband got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and I got the caprese. My husband loved his meal and said the sauce was savory. I loved that my caprese came with giant roasted red peppers! They replace the basil leaf with the peppers and sprinkle basil on it, so it's not your traditional caprese. I actually like it better!

We sat outside, it was a beautiful day. We could see the center of town down the block and the historic hotel.

The service was great!

The only thing is that this location does not have pizza, like the one in Mesa. The server said they don't have a wood fire stove at this location.

Would definitely come back!

Food was good... people are friendly and Ambiance is homey...

Made reservations for 7 a few days in advance of our Saturday dinner event. Arrived on time, but the table wasn't ready. Diners seemed to be slowly finishing their dinner, clearing out, taking time... and I think I know why.

The meal itself was good. Our orders were served hot and savory. Everyone said their dish tasted great. The party had a range of steaks, a burger, a few pasta dishes, etc. I would want to eat there again, albeit perhaps with a to go order in mind.

It's very hard to hire experienced waiters, bussers, and greeters. I get that. The wages are often low, and tips might not be a reliable way to earn a living. That said, I believe the reason why people were waiting to leave and why I would only order "to-go" food is primarily due to the service staff. Our table wasn't ready (1 table for 7) so three "two tops" were pushed together. To say the least, it was tight seating. During our wait time for the table, we reviewed the menu and were pretty much ready to go once the server came to introduce himself. Drink orders first... no "Are you also ready to order?" being asked. By that time we were more than ready to order. Once the drinks came, it was hard to get refills. Once refills were done the older glassware and bottles were left on the table. There was only enough real estate on those tight tables and extra glassware really took up space. We had other tables food delivered to us not once, but twice during the evening which was weird. An appetizer was ordered with a specific sauce, but the sauce wasn't sent over. When they did bring it, it was almost comedic in volume and at about the moment the food was eaten. What a waste! Did I mention needing utensils and napkins? Drinks delivered. Refills? Done. Appetizer dropped off. Spare plate, forks, etc? Um.... lemmie get them for you... 1/3 of the way through the meal? Really?

No one can be 100% all the time. When service issues start, they tend to cascade. We traditionally tip 20% because my better half was a server at one time in her life, and I know how hard things can get in a restaurant. We still gave the traditional tip, even with the issues described above. I am hopeful there can be some shaping up by management that brings front facing staff up to par with the food here. Little fixes can yield big improvements. Let's see in future reviews what has been accomplished.

Very good our server Joel was great. Great homey ambiance, good views and comfortable.

Food was just ok, our server was nice but the hostess/manager was brash and rude. I would say that there are a lot of better places with a better vibe/ambiance, food and service in Prescott. Let me help you out. Don't waste your time and money unless you're just desperate.

I went there today and the staff seemed somewhat friendly. We were sat and waited for about 15 minutes before getting our order taken. After it was taken we waited a whole 40 minutes for the main dish. I got the beef burger, cooked medium rare, and my friend got a steak, medium. When we got the food, my burger was raw in the middle and my friends steak was so well done it was almost a rock. I ate about a 1/2 of the burger and took the rest home. About an hour after I finished eating there, I was on the toilet fighting for my life, holding a bucket in my lap throwing up simultaneously. Very disappointing. Will not be going back.

Red White and Brew is located in a strip mall in northeast Mesa McDowell and Power area. We have never been disappointed with their food or service. On this occasion one of the specials was Halibut Cheeks with drawn butter (poor man's lobster) however, with rising food prices it's not a poor man's dish anymore (my commentary). Anyway we were seated in a booth promptly served water and order taken. The food was hot and delicious. Haven't had an occasion where I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. So enjoy highly recommended.

Second time here and loved it even more. Had more variety of food, including desert.

Just stopped in for happy hour drinks on this visit. The parking lot is a little small but I think there's an overflow lot just below their primary lot. There's also some street parking available.

There's both inside and patio areas to dine at. There's also a small bar area...which is kinda cozy in my opinion. We had our drinks in this area. We also had some appetizers. I tried their potato skins. Instead of a hollowed out potato half, they leave the whole thing intact. So the excess potato pulp made for a filling appetizer. But it also took away some of that taste balance I was anticipating. It wasn't bad...just very different and oddly, not in a good way in my opinion. I think it felt too "heavy" for what I was expecting.

Staff were nice and courteous...but service was a little slow...but not too bad. It's a little pricey here. But prices are up everywhere these days. No objections to eating or drinking here again.

This was an excellent addition to the Prescott restaurant scene! A nice varied menu...with excellent daily specials! The Happy hour is always fun and can be enjoyed in the restaurant and bar areas. We have tried many things on the menu and the specials. The seafood is always very good, steaks are cooked as ordered and juicy and tender, the salads are very large and fresh. There is a "secret wine list" that has some excellent wine! I would hit recommend this restaurant!
